Activity eligibility

The aim of this grant is to facilitate community meals or the purchase of items for food relief hampers for use between Christmas and the New Year. Do you agree to the following:

  • Activity to be held on or between Monday 1 December and Wednesday 31 December.
  • Be held at a public venue within Greater Bendigo that does not offer or promote gambling of any form.
  • Be welcoming and inclusive of all people, including being able to accommodate some ‘walk ins’ on the day
  • Use the City’s guide to accessible events
  • Use the City’s guide to healthy catering
  • Be alcohol, smoking and vaping free (or have designated smoking and vaping free zones, if the event is to be held outdoors)
  • Support local suppliers and businesses where possible
  • Adhere to food safety standards and any other legislated requirements; and
  • Use the City’s guide to waste wise and plastic free events
